17 Clone Karts rumbled down the straight in perfect formation at the start of every heat. In the front Terry West and Logan Wyman duked it out, swaping places over and over again all day. Logan finally succumbed to Terry’s skills, and Terry ultimately took First place. Becky Knapp in the final heat held her position for a strong 3rd until an unexpected failure stopped her from completing the race. Catching up to fill the void, David Schilt, Chelsi Wagner, and Travis Look battle it out for third. In the end David slid up into third, and Chelsi took fourth, leaving Travis in the dust.
The show doesn’t end there, Christian Cerceau, Alex Franco, Jamie West, Brian Murphy, and Shawn Kerns had an intense 5 Clone battle throughout the final heat. In the final lap all five karts barreled down the straight in a tight single file until they crossed the white flag. All of a sudden they broke out into a two column formation piling into turn 1 and shuffling out of turn 2 into a completely different order. Christian slid up into 6th, Jamie 7th, Brian 8th, Shawn 9th, and Alex 10th.
