Just barely waking up and recovering from this crazy weekend. I want to say thank you to all who attended and especially you NFRA guys and gals traveled from far out to be a part of this awesome race. I also want to thank those of you who(MLE especially) helped me put things together and dealt with me for the few weeks leading up to this race. Some said it couldn't be done, but we silenced their voices with the sound of over 30 4-cycle engines roaring down the track at the same time, and busting out some incredible times. Someone once said that we clones were only capable of doing a 1min 14sec lap. Ha..... with the help of all you 4-cycle pilots lap after lap we quickly showed that we could lay it down in under a minute. The fence was lined with spectators every single heat(practice heat included). We were definately the show to see, and thanks to our friends and family we had quite an audience. It was incredible, every start was clean with no pileups entering turn one and exiting two. Everyone raced well and found someone on the track to match their skills with to have a good time. NO RED FLAGS!!! Almost seemed impossible. Thank you for such a safe race everyone. I'm willing to bet there are lots of pictures still to come from all sorts of people. Once I download mine I'll share it with you all. Once again I want to thank everyone for being a part of this event.

Hey everybody! Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for all of your hospitality this weekend. No one puts on an event like you guys and gals do! From the BBQ (BTW, Travis, sorry I missed your question for a head count, time to eat etc.), to 30+ karts on the track and everyone making it through turns 1/2 without a major clusterbleep, to your prize table where everyone gets something to take home.....WOW! I think it is safe to say that everyone from the NFRA had a great time and really enjoyed your track and your members. I sure hope that we can get multiple NNKC races on the NFRA schedule for the '11 season. If any of you would like to make a trip down the hill we'd love to have you join us. We still have races on our schedule at Prairie City, Dixon, Davis, Stockton and Atwater so take your pick! Our schedule can be found at www.norcal4cycle.com. Just let us know what race you'd like to come to and we'll make sure you are taken care of. Most of the remaining races will be Gold Rush Series races so they will be big (140+ kart counts) AND fun. If anyone has any pictures they would like to share I'd love to see them! 30+ karts staging in the grid and then rolling to take the green is pretty epic! Thanks again and take care!
