NNKC Sept 5, 2010 Race #6 Recap/Results

It was a good show of Clone force on Labor Day weekend. 14 Clones in all to start off a good day of racing. David Schilt stole the day with an undisputed first place by walking away from the entire pack. Next up was a battle between first time Clone Driver Derrick Delong, Club Pro Clone Driver Terry West, Becky Knapp, Jamie West, Travis Look, and Jr Clone Champ Logan Wyman. All six were fighting for podium positions and finishing no more than 3 tenths of a second apart. The pack was nose to bumper the entire race, each rarely risking the chance of making a move that would give up a position. In the end Travis took 2nd, Logan 3rd, Jamie 4th, Becky 5th, Terry 6th, and Derrick 7th. It was a tough battle for all. Next race will be the championship.

Job well done by everyone, it was a fun race to watch from behind. Glad no one was hurt in the monster truck demo.

Hey now TW, it's not a demo. It was an accident... Or rather an exhibition of the proper way of the pit maneuver. I'm not into monster trucks anyway.

I'm also quite glad I didn't land my kart in your lap, Ter. Squished side pod is supremely better than broken body. But thanks for breaking my fall, regardless! And then repairing me after that fun little bouncy ball demo. hahaha.
